Pastor Susan Dyer reflecting

Prophetic intercession is asking God to show us what’s in His heart and mind and then to lead us in what to pray for and how to pray for it. As we enter into agreement with Him, our prayers become powerful and effective. Another way of putting it is to invite God to lead and direct our prayers.

Prophetic Intercession also gives us an opportunity to build and to develop a personal relationship with God. As we lay down our own agendas, desires and burdens, we grow to depend on Him to show us what is on His heart. As we seek His heart, we receive wisdom and understanding from the Holy Spirit. We also receive the knowledge of His love which causes us to have a deeper love for God and His people.

As a prophetic intercessor, I have the honor and the privilege to intercede, and to strengthen, encourage and comfort the body of Christ through Father’s words (1 Cor 14:3). Prayer is a rewarding calling that answers the way Jesus taught us to pray, “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
